Hi all,
I wanted to share photos of a few of my plants.

I've recently harvested quite a few P. chilensis seeds. These are pretty darn fresh, the last batch I harvested 7 days ago, and the most recent batch I harvested about 2 days ago. In my experience, these are a very easy species to germinate, much like lusitanica. If you're interested in trading...

Hey guys! So I recently purchased a Burb X eddy and did a little research concerning the Legitimacy of this hybrid. So there is debate in another forum saying that this hybrid may not even have edwardsiana in it and possibly villosa or an even more complex hybrid. I wanted to know if this is...
I wanted to share my new ultra highland setup. I don't post much, but I got a ton of info from this forum during this build, so thank you all.
First, I somewhat suddenly found myself in possession of a few ultra highlanders via a trade, but didn't have the proper setup for them. The plants...
I lied... :jester:
If there is anything that I don't have for trade, but you are dying to have, send me a pm and I'll see if I see what I can start propagating for ya. I'm always looking for different clones than what I have, so if you have something I already have on my growlist, send me a...
Trading an unrooted cutting of my nepenthes ampullaria for a nepenthes aristolochioides, tentaculata, pitopangii, rajah, tenuis or villosa of any size. I would keep the plant whole but it has outgrown its terrarium which is why the newest leaf is sort of deformed. You will get the whole main...
I am starting this thread to be able to hear about stories of people who are growing highland nepenthes in "inadequate" conditions such as high temperatures, low humidity, etc. I am looking to acquire a nepenthes villosa and the following to threads were the ones that inspired this thread:
N...
I'm looking for any South American Drosera. Particularly interested in D. graomogolensis, D. solaris, D. esmereldae, D. felix, D. ascendens, D. villosa, and D. meristocaulis. I have lots of subtropical sundews and Mexican pings, and could probably trade some fun primary Nepenthes hybrids if the...
Does anyone here do this? I know a guy who does this with a Hamata and a Jamban and he has success with it. When I say "windowsill", by the way, I mean any plant that is NOT grown in either a terrarium/chamber or a greenhouse. The particular guy I'm talking about has growlights, but he still...
Hi all,
Here are some of the plants that I'm looking for.
Drosera regia
Drosera alba
Petiolaris complex drosera - esp. Drosera falconeri
Nepenthes burbidgeae
Heliamphora
Any toothy nepenthes species (hamata, villosa, edwardsiana(lol))
Please pm, I would be willing to trade or buy. Thanks...

First flower from one of my hybrids, large one at that
Second flower on same stalk, attempted pollination earlier today with pollen harvest from first.
Hope it wasn't too late, but will know in a couple weeks.
new pitcher on the hybrid in flower, she's getting big...
Here are a few images of multiplying plantlets in a cytokinin-rich experimental media. The challenge with this species, as well as many other highlanders and ultra-highlanders, are the development of roots; or rhizogenesis.
More often than not, I allow the plants to root ex vitro, as though...
Hello everyone, welcome to my new thread!
I have put together a new setup and have pretty much automated the temperature and humidity settings.
The lights are on a 16 on 8 off schedule
Temperature is set to 72F day, 52F night. However the top shelf stays 5F-8F warmer when the lights are on...
Cuttings giveaway: Brugmansia "Suncrest vulsa". Restricted by climate/conditions
I urgently need to cut back my Brugmansia, and I will not be able to use all the cuttings. So I'd like to offer some of the cuttings in a giveaway.
There are several problems with this. One is that the plant is...
The true D. villosa has eluded my collection for a number of years now. If any of the lucky few out there could spare any kind of cuttings or plantlets, I'm sure we could work something out that would make us both happy.
Do some helis grow slower than others, in nature? I ask because my H. chimantensis is moving at a snail's pace, when my others are pumping out pitchers galore. Is it just me, or is this species the villosa of the heli world?
It's no secret I'm primarily a Heliamphora grower but I do have two Nepenthes.
Both were gifts and I cherish each one.
My N. macrophylla and this N. villosa.

Thanks for looking, I will endeavor to add a higher quality pic this weekend

So I spent a little over half of June and all of July of this year in Borneo and Australia. I flew quite literally, around the world and it was absolutely incredible. I flew from RDU to JFK where I spent eight hours sitting around on the airport floor. Then I flew directly to Frankfurt, Germany...
Thought I would make a thread to show the growth rate of my x kinabaluensis since its the jewel of my collection and I have had it exactly for a year now.
October 2013, when I bought it as a villosa
