2015 Heliamphora . . .

Here are two cultures of Heliamphora folliculata -- one from Tereke-Yuren and the other from Kamarkaiwaran Tepui. Both are in a cytokinin-rich experimental media; represent about five months of growth; and are showing some promising development . . .

Here is another update of one of the cultures, after the callus was divided and allowed to grow a bit. After a few weeks, I'll subdivide it further and place some in a plain media, without plant growth regulators, to produce the species' familiar leaves -- and nothing quite so monstrous in appearance . . .

They've been kept in a #2 mayonnaise jar on Funk and Wagnall's back porch since noon today. No one knew the contents of these jars, but you, in your borderline divine and mystical way, will divide the cultures without any sign of contamination.
