7th year!

NJ Pine Barrens Trip

Where: (New Jersey Pine Barrens) Wharton State Forest. Atsion camp grounds.

When: This years camping trip will be Friday July 22 - Sunday afternoon the 24th.

Like most years I will be there first thing in the morning on Friday.
I leave Thursday after work and Geocache the whole way there and arrive late Thursday / early Friday morning.

Ron and his wife are planning on heading there on Thursday as well.

I have camp site #6 and Ron has #8.

Like most years, nothing is etched in stone. We explore by car, foot and boat. Boat being the best way to see the nature all around this wonderful place.

Steve hope you have a great trip. Can't believe this is trip #7. I made it to the first one with JBL, PAK, Ozzie a.k.a Tongs and of course yourself. I've been out of the loop here at the forums for awhile and I just decided to check in and I see the Pine Barrens trip. My niece is getting married on saturday in New Brunswick NJ, . I won't be that far from you guys(and gals), although I won't be there physically I'll be there in spirit.
If i'm lucky i'll get out kayaking to lake Glenmere in Florida NY on sunday. They have some dews and purple pitchers although not in the numbers as the Pine Barrens. To all who are going on the Pine Barrens trip enjoy!!!

I always love the photo threads from these trips! Now do you guys bring your own canoes/kayaks? Or do they rent there?
Is there hiking spots too with CP's?
How bad are the mosquitos and sun?
