D dielsiana

Hi guys. I have a friend that got one of these plants this summer and we're having trouble finding information on dormancy for it. Does D. Dielsiana need dormancy? Any special requirements you know of? Thanks!

Hi Nick...
D dielsiana is a sub-tropical and should have approximately the same care requirements as spatulata. This is from Savage Garden: "With very few exceptions, this class of Drosera grows throughout the year without any dormancy requirements. While most grow in frost free environments, most are tolerant of brief freezes into the 20s. The rosettes will die during these light frosts, but usually new plants will come up from the thick, protected roots. For best results, grow them in frost-free environments."
