Ok, I need help with the spelling, punctuation, and capitalization of my growlist. I am specifically confused with cultivars and hybrids. Can anyone help me? Here is my growlist. Mods, feel free to edit the mistakes.

Two things stood out to me: D. aliciae (spelling) and Heliamphora - if you catch my drift.

Very impressive list! Almost as big as Jeremiah Harris!

Hope you don't mind, but I've changed all your quotation marks so that they are correct. You were using a weird type of punctuation before.
 
Thanks. Is the V in N. x 'Ventrata' captialized? Is there even quotations around ventrata?
 
and is it S.'Judith Hindle' or S. x 'Judith Hindle'?
 
I'm pretty confused about this type of thing myself, but I know if you go to the library and get a book on horticulture or plant breeding, they should have all the information you need to know about naming conventions. You could probably find that kind of info somewhere on the net too, but you're probably already looking.

Have you used the ICPS Carnivorous Plant Database or BobZ's Carnivorous Plant Photo Finder? BobZ's would likely be the easiest to use and if you're like me will take the most time. I have to check out the pictures and often forget what it was I was looking for to begin with. Scroll through his plant photo lists and compare how he has the plant names written down with how you wrote them down. If you're still not sure, double check the spelling with the ICPS site. This won't be as quick as having the answers given to you by other growers. But, you're less likely to be misinformed and you'll likely discover some information you didn't know.

i don't know that there is a right and wrong way to write those out. I guess I would stick with the x, since I see it every where. Then, we'd either all be right, or all be wrong.

One other nitpicky, technical thing: put a space after every period. I see it on most of your list. Example: S.alata should be S. alata

Just to add to your confusion.

A quote from BobZ's Photo Finder list: The "ICPS database states coccicaulis, natalensis, and venusta are synonyms..."

This is what I got for Drosera venusta on the ICPS CP database:

N: [Drosera venusta {Debbert}]
P: Mitt.Bot.Staatss.Muenchen 23:432 (1987)
T: Oteniqua Mts. N George, Cape, ZA, P.Debbert s.n. (M)
S: =[Drosera natalensis {Diels}]

And for drosera coccicaulis:

N: ~[Drosera coccicaulis {Hort.Westphal}]nom.nud.
P: Carniv.Bestandsl.:1 (1991)
S: =[Drosera natalensis {Diels}]

There was nothing for D. venusta var. coccicaulis or for D. vesuta var. anything.

The "S: = " that is underlined in the above two names indicates that what follows is a synonym for the plant you are looking up
