Yeah, when I started I was all "Species only"! But then I was given some hybrids and I can't say no to a free nepenthes. Then I aquired some on accident like this one and a few other mislabled ones hehe. There are only a handful on my want list because they have genetics of species I really like. But yeah other than that I'm just into species.

Thanks JB.

I'm a sucker for ham hybrids. Have platy x hamud, vent x ham, got spath x ham x2 and sing x hdm coming. I also love the dragon series done a while back. But Aldo collecting species. Don't fret what I'm sending is hybrids. ;-) go out next week.

Or is it ham x platy

Remember I do make an exception for hybrids under those conditions. The only ham hybrid I like is the spathulata one because it looks most like a normal hamata. Thanks. I can't wait. :D I like lowii hybrids and merrilliana hybrids. Because no one knows I like merrillianas right? ;)

JB, yes it does that's what I'm hoping for.

Ok long time since I updated. I have a few pics to share since I got some new plants recently. Bought some, traded for others or did art commissions.

Crisstal, thanks. I love your albos. They are doing well. One is inflating a new pitcher.

Wireman,
Yes I heard about that one that it gets really big. I will have to add it to my want list as I'd like to have a nice collection of giant pitchers.

The sun was coming through beautifully this morning through some of my pitchers so I had to get pics.

Lots of ventricosas ahead. I've only had this plant two days and I'm loving it.

Thanks. They get three hours on the window sill then the rest are supplemented with lights. Outside they can get 6-8 hours depending where they are located. Probably more now that it's almost summer. Sun rises at around 6:30 and can stay out til 9pm.

Another update with lots of new pics.

N. x miranda basal cutting by Thagirion3, on Flickr

A basal I took my miranda.

N. merrilliana in tank by Thagirion3, on Flickr

This is a merrilliana and I find it odd how it's whitish green whereas most of the others I've seen and my other one are pink and yellow. I guess that's the variation in seed grown.

Five pitchers by Thagirion3, on Flickr

This is my other merrilliana. Lots of beautiful pitchers. I prefer this color form. And more pitchers on the way.

Merrilliana pitcher close by Thagirion3, on Flickr

Does anyone know when these guys will get the typical cylinder shaped pitchers? I was surprised they look like this with those angled bottoms. I know this is a true species because these are the EP seed grown of clone 8 and giant which are true merrillianas. But when will those awesome football shaped pitchers appear?

N. lowii x truncata wide by Thagirion3, on Flickr

Lowii x truncata wide inflating a pitcher.

Little tubby pitcher by Thagirion3, on Flickr

Short tubby pitcher of N. sibuyanensis x (spectabilis x aristolochiodes)

Lowii x merrilliana pitcher by Thagirion3, on Flickr

Lowii x merrilliana

N. gracialis red by Thagirion3, on Flickr

Gracialis red getting lots of pitchers.

Three pitchers by Thagirion3, on Flickr

Lowii x truncata wide pitcher inflating and two N. albomarginata reds.

N. ramispina closed pitcher by Thagirion3, on Flickr

My first ramispina pitcher coming in.

Curvy jellybean pitcher by Thagirion3, on Flickr

Love the jellybean shape of this lowii x merrilliana pitcher that's still inflating.
