How big are the vft's trap when they are near dormancy?When do they stop deploying large summer leaves?

The plant will start to make the longer leaves in the Summer as temps get hotter...so the short fat leaves will go away.

The plant will continue to make the same size traps ( from what I see ) until it goes dormant.

Will every vft produce large traps even near dormancy?I have two common flytraps.Oh and can you give me some dormancy signs because I can't tell when's dormancy.What happens if I keep the soil as moist as usual and set it in the fridge?Will my flytrap die?
