Vetrata lowers

glider14

Always a newbie
what do Ventrata lowers look like? are they the same as the uppers(tendril behind)

Lowers have the tendril on the front just like any nep species.

my ventrata pitchers look pretty much the same, upper or lower. The only difference is the tendril is on the back on the uppers, and the upper tendril forms loops to wrap around something for support.

shhot i have a lower cutting then....no flowers i guess

Is it possible to have "intermediate" pitchers? I have a ventrata that produced one pitcher with a loop, and then the newer tendrils above that one didn't loop at all.

glider, it will eventually make uppers and flower for you. Knowing ventratas, it won't even take that long. Oh, and there are indeed intermediate pitchers.
