looks like uppers to me! ventricosa hybrid for sure! but what is the other parent?

I want to say x ventrinermis, but I'm not sure on that since I don't grow it. Anyone else think ventrinermis?

I change my vote to agree w/ Ludwig. Looks more like x emmarene. I hadn't thought of that.

Cool site. I checked it out. I don't think its a khasiana. The leaves are fatter than mine.

How do i seperate the new shoots from the main plant? Do i just break it off?

I assume you mean a basal shoot...they can be removed and grown as cuttings but it is risky if it is very small.

What's the minimum size for it to be safe for a cutting? The larger basal shoot has about 5 leaves.

It woudl be helpful to see a pic but that should be ok.
