Well, I received it from someone who bought it from Tony P and it has MT on the label. It was looking pretty bad when I got it but has rebounded pretty well with cool nights. I'm sure it is older than it looks having regressed by being grown too warm.
Was it my label? I don't recall N. talangensis from MT. I have a single plant from Wistuba that I made the occasional cutting from as well as BE plants from seed/TC.
OK, now I need to double check when I get home. Sorry for the confusion. I'm probably looking at too many labels in one day and then going by my somewhat reluctant memory..
steve, nice to see that the plants you got from me is doing great. god job. and if i remember it correctly, it was a seed grown plant that i got from tony.
here is a picture of the same plant when it still has a pitcher before it went down hill
here is a photo of the same plant when steve got it
This pic is a few weeks old when the first pitcher opened. It now has at least 3 pitchers. I won't say exactly how many it has since my memory has proven somewhat cloudy. I can post a new pic tomorrow.
wow steve, your one good nep grower!! if my calculations are correct, it took about 9 months for that n. talangenisis to bounce back from the state when i had it to this nice happy plant.
My N. talangensis (from Tony) has been growing along fine for about 2 years but NEVER made a pitcher! I don't understand it. Plants around pitcher (hamata, burbidgeae, aristolochia) but never any pitchers from this one (or the N. macfarlanei come to think of it). Any ideas?
