Actually N. hamata is quite adaptable in my experience. If you search back in this forum you will find many posts with tips on care and other growers personal conditions.
A very general description would be that they prefer highland conditions.
once they start growing they are supposed to be a weed........my lil basal cutting has proven quite hardy.............hard to find, sure for now...........hard to grow? i dont really think so.......
