I need to cut the vine but havn't had any luck with cuttings from other neps
do ventrata root well in water?

ventrata roots well in anything more or less

Personally, i'd never use water though. Seems to be the least preferred method by far

root it in LFS instead. Its supert for cuttings. Also if you cant get LFS. You can just use a airy mix of peat/perlit/orchid bark. At 1.1.1
 
Is it humid enough in that windowsill? I really want to buy a big one like that but it wont fit in my terrarium (duh), and I'm afraid it's not humid or bright enough in my room.
 
Abcat ventrata isnt very picky about their growing conditions.
Just give it plenty of light and a little time and it will definetly please you.
 
the humidity by the window is about 15-35%
