something about basal...

MrFus

Do you like that...
Im not sure 100% but I think I read here something related with basal shots and the need to remove them from the main vine or this will become weak and die, or something like that...

I just search and I cant found the post, so Im afraid Im just having a ALIEN fake implanted memory about this.

Ok... well I ask this because I just check my plants today and I see this on my ampullaria:

<a href="http://www.freeimagehost.eu/image/d589221621835" target="_blank"><img src="http://thumbnails.freeimagehost.eu/163/d589221621835.gif" alt="free image host"></a>

I Know the ampullaria really grow more on a rosette configuration with a bounch of pitchers on grown level, so this group of small pitchers are normal and should dont represent any problem for the ampullaria?

That's completely normal. Leave it.

I would say congrats not cut it off, those could be life savers like it was on my plant.

OK!

So I guess the only thing here is wait a little bit so this new pitchers madurate and then move the plant to a bigger pot! :-D

This one is the favorite of my mom, she will be really happy when she come back and discover how big has it become.
