Lunch!

This pitcher is on a plant that is outdoors, and it attracts flies and gnats. Gnats go in, and most get stuck on the wall of the pitcher, but the flies stay on the lid and don't go into the pitcher. Lately I've also seen ants walking on the peristome, and they don't fall in.

Looks like it is doing a REALLY good job of what it is supposed to do!
 
That's so cool. Now do the bodies fall into the trap and do you have to empty it every so often to stop rot?

Wow, that plant must have strong nectar glands to attract that many bugs lol
 
Thats a cool looking nep, which species/hybrid is it?

My neps never seem to attract flies, only ants:

I grow my neps in windowsill, but they still can attract a lot of ants!
