Size problem! Ugh!

Ant

Your one and only pest!
My N. ventricosa is getting on my nerves now. Last year I repotted it to keep it from tipping its pot over, guess what is doing now! Why can't it just grow staight up instead of to the side! :-( Do I have to repot it AGAIN?

Put some rocks or something else heavy in the pot to keep to from tipping over.
What size pot is it?

Its a 4 inch pot.

Bigger pot!

Gravity my friend. They will grow sideways unless they have something to grab on to.

A few things:
  • Stake it up
  • Get a hanging pot and let it fall over
  • Overpot it big time.

How big is it?

xvart.

I reccomend overpotting it like xvart said. Try a 6 inch pot.

Good luck!

But if you want basals, it's good that it's tipped over.

The pot? It only sits at an angle like this / and the plants growth point is still higher then the soil level. Would that really cause basals? i will measure it tommorow.
