My new adition N. sibuyanensis x hamata

bluebird

Rub my belly!
I just got this Nep. today it only has one pitcher which is starting to open and there's three that look like it's going to start growing hopefully it'll do well for me I'll post an update once the pitcher opens and it grows a little more also it has some nice live sphagnum I was excited to see the nice green stuff up close.

Anyone else have this type of hybrid you could post pictures of yours if you want.

Mine is also starting to inflate pitchers, but the one mine make are more slender rather tubby. overall this has been really easy to grow

How much did it cost btw?

I got it for $58 that includes shipping it looks really nice I've seen some other N. sibuyanensis x hamata that have a slender shape and some more tubby I liked both types also I really like the color of the pitcher hopefully the next pitcher will look even nicer.

I'll post updates once it grows more it'll be nice to see how this hybrid pitcher looks as it matures.

Very neat pitchers! Nice avatar, btw ;)

Thanks alot for the comments. =)

I looked around for some pictures of this plant here's four pictures of this hybrid these pitchers seem to take after hamata more being a bit more slender while mine has a bit more sibuyanensis, but I guess we'll see how the second pitcher looks it might change a little over time I guess that's the great thing about seed grown plants you get to see alot of variety in each plant of the hybrid which I hope mine turns out to be a female when it flowers, but if not that's fine as long as the plant is healthy and making nice pitchers I'm happy with it.

Here's the pics.

 Do you know if it's seed grown or not?

Yea they're all seedgrown

All of the N.sibyanensis X hamata are seed growned the hybrid is pretty new.

Oooh, ok. Then the reason why it's tubbier is probably because of variation. It looks better tubbier IMO :3

So far this Nep. is recovering pretty well to it's new enviroment and I've had my N.Sibuyanensis X Hamata since september 11 and today it's started showing some signs that it's growing here's a small update once it's formed it's second pitcher I'll post another progress report.

I like both tubby and slender variation, but I like the tubby pitcher a bit more too.

I also included a couple of pictures of my N.sanguinea from Andy after repotting it made a deformed pitcher quite odd looking, but the next one forming after that is looking normal luckily also it's leaves got a little color when there were alot of sun so it got a little bronze sorry the pics are a bit blurry it's storming right now so I didn't have good lighting. =\
