Back from the dead!

I received this viking after it was in the mail for 18 days.
I have read that they have a rizome.
so I planted it up anyway.
The results.

It will be interesting to see if it survives.

I bet it'll try to feed on other plants' roots :O.

Congratulations!!!

Capensis,

It's soul tried to get away when confronted, but I was able to return it with an offering of a large cricket!

wow, how good is your camera to take a pic that has a color streak and still be clear!?! Also congrats on the live viking, I am also jealous of it even if it is little! I love lowlanders!

Ant, thanks!
I am still learning.
this is a serious thread.
sorry for the foolish pics.
I felt halloween coming.
I was hoping someone would have experience with viking.

Another lesson in patience!

my vikings have been very hardy in my care. They get 75-95 days, with humidity 70%+. Light is pretty good. they are wet nearly constantly, and have done exceptionaly well. Good luck Zero!

Hi Zero

How long did it take for the plant to show new signs of growth? What did you do with the dead plant? I'm sure many people have killed their neps and would like to know how you did this.

Thanks

Melvin
