Welcome, visitor from a far-away strange land.

tyty,
I need to find a spot under a T5 and see if the color would darken for me some.....

My humble submission:

I just got it two weeks ago. The second pitcher was still inflating, and this is how it came out. I see lots of potential here!

This will be interesting to see if it flares or keeps the folded back look.

Oh yes, absolutely! I can see where that pitcher is light-starved beyond belief!

Nice coloration! Great acquisition. This one definitely seems to be from a different seed batch than the originals - a real youngster.

I wish mine would actually quit pouting and grow, but it seems to have caught some sort of fungal infection. New leaves come up fine, but start forming discoloration before fully opened. Any ideas on how to treat it so I can get it moving along again?

roxorboxor, youll love this nep i find it pretty easy, Ive have had mine in a highland terrarium and out in the house, and it didnt seem to make much difference. i do offer it quite a bit of t-5 fluorescent lighting.
.

Has anyone else noticed the little thorny crown on the lid of theirs?

I just wanted to put a lil bump on this thread. This species is what got me to this hobby & it was the first nepenthes I bought. I got it back in May for my bday and its first pitcher "under my care" is finally inflating!! countdown!

Great flared peristome! Interesting how some flare & some fold - the wonder of SG plants - genetic variability - we may or may not like what we see ...

Congrats on getting a great plant! :hail:
