Hi all,
Here are some pics of some of my neps. These are in intermediate conditions in winter and on the cooler side of lowland in the summer. The rest of my neps are outside. My mom has been taking care of my plants while I'm at school, and she sent me these pics today. It's nice to be able to see the progress they have made, especially after the coffee treatment I gave them a month and a half ago. Sorry for the blurriness in some of the pics. My mom's camera isn't very good.
Left to right: N. veitchii pink, N. maxima x [(stenophylla x lowii) x (Rokko x veitchii-Highland)] (whew, that's a long name!), N rafflesiana BE 88 or 99, and N. spectabilis giant in the back
This was taken 2 months ago. N truncata pasian highland and N. ventricosa very squat x red leather
The same plants today
Look at the size increase
Truncata showing promise. I hope this clone produces redder pitchers as it gets bigger
This was sold as a seed grown N. burkei, which it obviously is not...but it doesn't seem to be a ventricosa either...
Malesiana's veitchii pink with dyeriana working on a pitcher behind it
N. Miranda starting to vine
Baby N. maxima giant wavy leaved form
Now for some non-neps
Utricularia reniformis
U. longifolia
Laeliocattleya Gold Digger 'Orglade's Mandarin'
Rhyncostylis gigantea
Phaius Dan Rosenburg
The north side of the greenhouse
