Very nice Raff upper, NepNut.

The first pic with the prominent bottom lip reminds me of a Grouper fish.

spathulata x boschiana
Got this plant maybe 9 months ago from srduggins.
I've been patiently waiting for pitchers like this.
Also: These pictures were taken with a Droid.

Thanks !

this is most sophisticated, the front lower peristome is turned up as if to say I'm so
cool, I don't even need a drink of water right now LOL.

Very nice raff:-O

I agree! This raff proves a plant doesn't have to be extremely rare species to be a real looker!

How big is this plant overall? Any shots of the whole thing?

Thanks everyone for your kind comments, I think raff produce some of the coolest looking uppers among nepenthes species.

Raffs are common but this variant is very rare. The whole plant is at least 5-7 ft long now, I'm waiting for it to flower

Here's a shot of the whole plant... (not for competition) :p

Holy hot damn that thing is gorgeous and rare. Did you change wattage or spectrum? What kind of lighting do you use?

  • #40
the wattage and spectrum were the same. the lights were just way too old haha. so these are brand new lights. HUGE difference. thanks for the comment!
