It has only been a couple of years since I've taken a hand at growing Nepenthes x trusmadiensis, a natural cross between N. lowii and N. macrophylla; and one thing that I have noticed -- aside from far more rapid growth than that of its parents -- is the odd variety of pitchers it produces (as a younger plant, at least). They may appear elongated or squat, pale or more lively colored. It seems to be a crap shoot at this stage. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?
