Is this normal? (Weird Pitcher)

I just noticed it growing straight, is this normal behavior?
I grow this Nep outside with low humidity and high temps, kept in partial shade.

Yes that's how a new leaf is looks like. It'll curve up as it gets older.

Thats more happens when the plant is acclimating to your conditions. Is the plant new?

It's been with me for a while, but it just started pitchering again.

Who knows, it may still curl up at the last minute. Most likely it will abort, not every one will form a pitcher.
