Izumiae x TM has won a POTM already. I will not be entering it into any other contests, if that makes you feel better. :)

Good news.. you've got a green for go on that one! What better than a proven winner. ;)

I will undoubtedly post another photo of this once it has darkened up more. Usually this turns nearly black with age!

I give you N. inermis X N. bongso. (Click on image to embiggen)

Travis, it has only been open for about four days. They do start out this color (in fact, the peristome starts a clear Apple green!) but take on much more color with age. I don't know how dark it will get, since sunlight is at a premium these days. (ugh)

Here is my truncata 'pasian'. Newest pitcher that has colored up nicely. These truncatas just keep amazing me. I have two, but this is the larger one.

ah well I don't enter many of these... I tend to think it's not entirely fair to compete with the hobby group but I thought this guy (or gal) was kinda nice. N. trusmadiensis sometimes makes the upper pitchers come out wonky shaped if they get that N. lowii pinching in them. It can vary from pitcher to pitcher but this one came out really nicely shaped so here ya go!

close up of the viscious teeth! (oops didn't realize my thumb was sticking into the lower corner when taking the shot, oh well.. was kinda just freehanding it while putzing around the greenhouse doing other things.)

Thanks for that photo, Tony. Very nice. The thumb is a fine addition to the scene ;-) I assume it colors quite a bit with age, yes? (the pitcher, not yer thumb)
