I have heard that for a lowlander this little guy is quite particular.....how bad is it? also is it a transitional plant? meaning easy to keep alive until it gets bigger? I like the looks of it but do not like wasting money. lol.
This is my favorite species....and I can only keep them alive for a few months...I have since given up on growing it. I'm not entirely sure as to why, as I have grown them in a few different ways, and they seem to grow for a while, then quickly decline.
It's not too bad.
Just give it high humidity, LL temps, and natural sunlight and it'll do fine.
Mine is growing and pitchering just like any other nep.
I used kind of a chunky mix for this species.
