Very nice sarrs! Do you winter them in the fridge or does it get cold enough where you are? I haven't had much success growing them myself, so I'd be curious to know :)
Thanks, I've only really gotten into sarrs this year, but I've been told they will be just fine where I'm at (gets into the upper 50s at night in the winter). I've had a Scarlet Belle sarracenia for years and that has never had a problem, but that was my only one. They sure do love the full summer sun though!

This is why 'Lorraine' is one of my favorite man-made hybrids! It's so freakin pretty!.

I was so close to picking up another when I was at Leilani yesterday, but there are just sooooo many other amazing plants there.

Getting bleached out by the sun can actually look really nice! Reminds me of alba uppers, but it's just a plain old Ventricosa upper pitcher grown in full sun.

I almost picked up another one at the NECPS plant show, too. Went for a 'Terpsichore' instead.

I almost picked up another one at the NECPS plant show, too. Went for a 'Terpsichore' instead.

I was really close to getting one of those too, but got 'Fairyland' - (Sanguinea x Clipeata); I'm just a sucker for the Sanguinea / Ramispina look. I've actually never really liked Clipeata all that much, but man did Sam have some exceptional hybrids with it. And the natural hybrid he had of clipeata × reinwardtiana was just huge!

Truncata x Ephippiata (Kalimantan): this guy did not want to budge for 3 months, then for two months it just put out two leaves, and now I finally get to see what the pitchers look like!

also looks like the end of intermediate pitchers, notice the one last wing

Didn't really know what I was doing (my first VFTs) and had it in way too little light for much of the year, but read a lot, and since I moved it out into full sun... growth has been pretty good ;-) ;-)

The traps are all about one and a half inches wide.

Freshly opened 'Teachers of Virtue' mislabel probably Alata x Truncata. This one will make a very nice mouse trap :)

Nothing says "tropical" like a smattering of Anthuriums! What a pleasure it must be to grow Nepenthes in that environment....almost effortless, I would imagine. Beautiful Plants, sir.
