The Nepenthes that I'm growing

  • #21
Love all of your pics especially the photo of the Bumble bee going into the pitcher. Nice Growing!

thanks biozest. the bumble bee pics are two seperate bees. the first bee taunted me for several minutes, flying from pitcher to pitcher before escaping. the second one, the one who fell to his/her death, was on the peristome one second, and by the time i returned with my camera had fallen in and was swimming for its life. as you might expect, it lost that battle.

exotic lady, pitcher progress. big booming pitcher

way back i posted pics of what i was told was gothica, but i think this picther settles the debate. exotic lady / lady pauline is most likely, and given that i obtained exotic lady from the same grower, i'm leaning toward that. finally coloring up nicely

are you talking about on the "wings" and the lid? i guess their tiny hairs? i don't think i noticed them before. there is giant piece of dog fur on the left side of that pic, but i guess you're not talking about that?
