1. Only ONE (1) PITCHER per member may be entered in any particular month.
2. All pictures must be taken in the month of entry into the contest.
3. All entries must be clearly identified.
4. Entries are restricted to cultivated plants.
5. Contestants may post as many times and as many pictures of their entry as they like until contest closing on 04/30/13
6. Sequential pictures showing opening of a pitcher are fine as long as all pictures are taken within the month of the contest.
7. If, for some reason, a single pitcher cannot be isolated and a group shot is necessary, then the particular pitcher entered must be clearly identified in your post.
8. Plant must have been grown by owner at least six months prior to photo.
9. Times of Contest and Poll openings and closings are to be understood as EST.
10. Judging by forum members and guests in a poll opening on 05/01/13, closing 05/05/13 and using this forum! Voting will open on top of the thread at the close of the contest submissions.

No question about it: Nepenthes plants have some of, if not the most beautiful traps of all carnivores.

Yes and no. A well grow Leah Wilkerson or Adrien slack can give a run sometimes. But I do tend to agree with you as I am a nep guy. Lol

How long had it been in lowland condition? What temperature?
I just got a ramispina a few weeks ago. Curious of its chance of long term survival in lowland.

I've had it for nearly 3 years in lowland conditions days of 92-95 an nights of 72-78F. It has never been more than 6" across though and the pitchers are typically very thin and don't last all that long. The humidity is always above 80%. It was on the brink of death many times before it finally started looking good. I would not recommend growing it this way it just takes forever for not a lot of results.
