Depending on how often you water your plant, pure Sphagnum moss can be a bit heavy and easily waterlogged. I use roughly one part each of dried sphagnum moss, perlite, and orchid bark with good results. However, as long as you can keep a fairly consistent moisture level that isn't too wet or dry, they are very tolerant of a wide variety of soil mixes.
