What the heck is my N. ventricosa doing?

Its making this really awkwardly massive leaf that is pointing at about an 80 degree angle. Is it drunk or something?

Waving its tendrils and saying "Feed me!"?

this is what the plant is trying to tell you

Large jumps in leaf size usually mean that the plant is very happy with its conditions.

How long has it been in that container? A couple of my plants have oriented their leaves like that after transplanting.

My N. 'Miranda' does that too, it reaches towards the light while the leaves are developing and then when it is fully developed it folds down to a normal position.

I've noticed that some leaves will start almost vertical but then eventually curve down to a more reasonable level over time.
