Nepenthes identification

Hi guys !

I just acquired a new nepenthes, and there's no specie indicated on the label. Only "Nep. Hybrid". Could you please help me identifying it ? : )

It looks to me to be N. sanguinea x alata, or some variation of that, possibly N. x ventrata

That is NOT a ventrata. Ventrata has red cups and lacks wings on the pitcher.

Certainly not N. Ventrata, which looks like this:

Chances are probably pretty good that this plant is a mass market tissue culture clone of one of Deroose Plant's Nepenthes hybrids. Unfortunately they do not have a catalog, so I can't narrow things down besides this plant looking sort of like N. sanguinea. It's best to just label it as a NOID Nepenthes hybrid.

This is a mature pitcher of N. sanguinea; I think that the lamina shape also looks somewhat like it, but your plant is also probably not straight N. sanguinea. Growing it to a good size under good light levels may make a possible ID clearer in the future.

Indeed, I also have a ventrata which clearly doesn't look like that. It does look a bit like the sanguinea. I think the plant was lacking light, because the pitchers look bland, that may be why the colors don't really compare to the picture you showed. The shape and the patterns are really similar though.

I'll repot it and place it under good lighting, and we'll see what happens : )

This hybrid looks spot-on, good call! "Louisa" is a hybrid between N. hirsuta and N. "Rebecca Soper".

I don't think it is N. louisa at all. N. louisa has a bit of a crest on the peristome, while this plant lacks it. This plant also has a much thinner peristome than N. lousia.

I believe it is N. sanguinea 'orange'. It looks just like how mine did in low lighting.

It looks like N.sanguinea "orange" to me as well. It'll have a nice orange blush with more lighting.
