True or false?

Hi all,

Is it true or false that, mature Nepenthes seeds are black in colour?

The only species that I'm aware of that should have black seeds is N. pervillei, and possibly N. campanulata (the pic I saw of campanulata seeds wasn't close enough to see well.) Every other species will be some shade of brown - varying from quite pale to very dark, particularly in the embryo.

They vary in color, in my experience, from a beige to a very dark brown. I have never had actually black seeds . . .

In my experience, 99% of seeds are a Golden honey tan.

The majority that I've seen have been tan in color
