I'm growing CPs in the Desert of Tucson, Az

Hello everyone!
I'm wondering how Grey Moss CoolCapensis jaje61 Qloxwa2 and Mawy_Plants are doing with their seed from my giveaway. I did not sow mine until everyone announced they had received theirs and I noticed today I have germination. I did some where it was cooler and some where it was warmer and I definitely have better germination where it is cooler. Also, it looks like the seeds sown on LFS has had a better germination rate (so far) than those on a different media. (All pots are in sealed 1 gallon bags out of direct sunlight)

Mine haven't shown signs of germinating yet, but I got back a few days after they arrived so I was a bit late to sow them. They should start any time now.

I just checked mine and I can't see any sprouts yet, but they for the most part still look clean. One pot I have in a warm-ish terrarium so maybe I should move it to a cooler area with some of the rest.

They look beautiful! I'm getting my hopes up for any day now.

Really this is the first time "making" Nepenthes seed... So I was a tiny bit nervous that I may send out dud seeds. I'm glad that's not the case. :-D
I do have some sprouting from my warmer area, so I don't think they won't sprout there maybe just a little later. I'm not going to move mine to the cooler area just yet (although I too was tempted!)
Thanks for the updates.
Andrew

I have germination!! At least two have tiny leaves just emerging, both in the same pot on a bright northern windowsill. I left the pot (I mentioned before) in the terrarium, and moved some of the others to another bright northern window.

Wow, it was worth the wait!

Nice, I am glad to hear it! Congrats :-O

Here's about as good a picture as I can get - they are so small. So far I see two healthy-looking cotyledons... How long before true leaves appear?

I didn't really time it but I'd say... "soon" =)

No matter how many pictures you see of baby nepenthes, it is still nowhere near as amazingly beautiful as seeing a tiny little pitcher in real life!

Here are some of mine from each of the 4 pots I sowed. Not too much difference at this point cooler greenhouse VS warmer greenhouse, but with winter here is when the temp difference really occurs.

Nice! Looks like I didn't do an amazing job at pollination when I was smashing the male and female flowers together. LOL

Well, mine have not been doing much, and they look really pale. They were hard to see in the photos for the LFS planted seeds so I circled some of them. I've decided to ditch the bags and just put them out... Hopefully they don't crash but they're surely not making any progress in there.
Any updates guys? Grey Moss jaje61 Qloxwa2

Out of the ones that germinated, this seems to be the only survivor. It slowed down a little during the winter, but has picked up the pace now that it's warmer. This is the third, fourth and fifth pitcher leaves so far. I'm afraid to move it or change anything because it seems happy now.
