hey guys, I was just wondering what's the difference between n.lowii and n.lowii trusmadis? thank you

N. Lowii (Trusmadi) refers to the mountain that the plant originated from. N. Lowii is found on quite a few mountains (which you can read more about here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nepenthes_lowii)

The mt. Trusmadi varieties tend to be a bit larger with speckled upper pitcher interiors. In contrast the mt. Murud varieties are smaller with an all red interior. There may be more here, but I am no expert.

N. lowii is found all across the northeastern half of Borneo, with some of the mountains it's been collected from and forms in cultivation including Mt. Trus Madi, Mulu, Murud, Tambuyukon, Kinabalu, and others. The Trus Madi forms have a fair likelihood of having macrophylla influence as the hybrid is common and often backcrosses there.
