    My new Nepenthes arrived.

They are in long fiber sphagnum moss. They were a bit dry when I got them. Ran water from my dehumidifier through the moss when I got them home. Most likely they have been watered using the greenhouse water/fertilizer system.

Will be watching them to see if I need to change out the media they are in. I expect these to come around nicely.

Sounds like you're on it. How many of us have "rescued" CPs from stores? At least your neps were from a greenhouse and not a hardware store or a grocery store (yes, I've purchased sorry looking plants from both). Happy to report they're alive and well today.

    My new Nepenthes arrived.

Nepenthes x Titanic Savior has lost many of its pitchers. This is expected getting acclimated to a new environment. The new leaf growing already aborted its pitcher. Hope the next one survives. Not sure if itís happy.

Nepenthes x Jolly Twist lost a few pitchers. New leaf looks good and should produce a new pitcher. Think it is happy.

Nepenthes x Fancy Tapestry lost 2 pitchers that dried out. Three turned black on the bases, wings, and cap. They do not appear dead as of yet, but I did cut one off. The newest pitcher that was developing has opened up and is showing red spotting. Think itís happy.

They are in a 20 gal long terrarium with glass top. Lighting is a 45 watt LED panel. Have a temperature controlled heat mat under the pots. Will be adding a usb fan once my speed control comes. Too much air movement without a control. Think that may have been why Nepenthes x Titanic Savior new growth dried out.

    My new Nepenthes arrived.

Just some updates. Photos taken on 7-3-2019.

This one colored up nicely. Lost the oldest pitchers. The larger pitcher has a small pellet of Osmocote in it. The newest leaf has grown very large. At the time I added the Osmocote, the leaf was still forming.

    Not doing too bad.

This one had some damage. It appears that the leaf tips have been chewed on or dried out. The first leaf to grow died, the second leaf tendril did not form. However, the 3rd leaf appears to be normal.

The Nepenthes x ventrata are also doing well. Have one away as a gift. Each new pitcher is getting a Osmocote pellet.

Which version of the Osmocote are you using? I was already considering this since someone else I know has been using it successfully but I didn't know which to purchase.

great to see the leaf jumps! I have over 20 different plants from that source and all have exploded after some time settling in. It is so cool being able to buy seedlings at that size because A. they are affordable and B. they are ready to make serious leaf jumps!!!

    My new Nepenthes arrived.

I put in the smallest pellets I could find in a handful of pellets. One per pitcher.

6-14-2019 added a pellet to one pitcher. The lid on that one dried up today (7-6-19). The pitcher was the first to open on that plant. The plant was highly stressed at the time I got it. Pellet was added day pitcher opened.

The other 2 Nepenthes pitchers are still ok.

Thanks for the info. There are a few versions of Osmocote and I wasn't sure which to purchase. Much appreciated
