    Lowes Nepenthes

Bought this about a month ago. Label says its a Nepenthes ventricosa. I have several Nepenthes x ventrata. Looking at this one Im wondering if its just a chubby ventrata.

    Package label.

    Pitchers that it came with.

    Newest pitcher.

Lighting is from red/blue led. Took photos with phone flash. Color of plant very close to how I see it under white lighting.

That looks like a x ventrata to me, but I'm no expert. I would expect less of a taper from the base to the peristome from a ventricosa.

    N. ventricosa does show up occasionally in retail stores etc. (it's how my original "red" clone came to me), but that's x ventrata.
Not sure there's much that will be traded for it though, as it's pretty much the most ubiquitous pitcher for sale anywhere.

Newest pitcher. They are getting large. Wish my phones flash would compensate better for my lighting.

Another new pitcher. Hard to believe this came out of a Lowes cube in July of this year. Still nothing fancy, just a fast growing Nepenthes hybrid.
