Also an Edwardsiana? UNBELIVABLE. How could he have obtained it! Near impossible!!

Also what is his setup? A swamp cooler?

Wow!!!!!!!!  That is a huge pitcher. About how long does it take for the plant to mke a new pitcher??? Other than that I'm still trying to get over the shock of such a large pitcher.

Thought I'd let you all know I contacted Matt and found out some VERY interesting environmental conditions his Rajah is in, as well as physical. He belives the secret to a huge Rajah is not cool night temps nor wating long for a one. He belives it is the pot size. he thinks that a shallow and wide pot is better than a deep one. That's how his Rajah is grown. In a wide and shallow pot. So I am asking him a few more question on the pot and other stuff and will keep you all informed on what the factor is to his Rajah that made it grow so big.

Thanks nepenthes gracilis !!
I read one time that N.rajah has a superficial and well developed roots system, so when I planted my little one (bare root) I keep roots horizontally 1 cm under the surface.
I think to have done the right thing ?!

rajah
