Hey Everyone!
Well spring has been CRAZY! I have not had a chance to visit the forums in a while so I thought I would post some pics today.
Things are going well with the CP collection. My longtime helper Amori will be leaving for England soon...
Darcie has been helping out and doing a fantastic job...
I ran around this afternoon and shot a few quick photos. They are not as good as the Gardens photos Amori took a while back, but I think you'll like them!
Check out the size of this truncata flower! I am 6'4" just for reference...
Its a male, and I think these flowers make the whole CP house smell like an old shoe...
Check out the size of this truncata pitcher!
This is a tobiaca x maxima pitcher that squeezed between the glass and is now in the arid house! The vine is growing up the glass and is now about 12 feet tall...
This is a spotted ampullaria that is getting some nice size pitchers on it...
A look inside... mmmmm bug soup!
This is posted in the Nepenthes area, but when some of you visited a while back, I was surprised at how many comments this Cephalotus received…
Well, now it's flowering...
Well, thats it for now. Next week I will try to take a few photos of the Sarracenia pools outside in our holding area. The Sarrs are growing like mad, with loads of flowers.
Thanks again to Amori, I'll miss you buddy, and my newest CP volunteer, Darcie, your doing a great job!
Have a good weekend everyone!
