Brownish marks

Hello everyone!

Question (another) for you guys :
My poor defenseless N.x Coccinea displays a bunch of brownish/orange/reddish areas on it's leaves, sometimes in the middle, sometimes along the edges...
*Gasp!* Does that mean it's the dreaded "Rust spot" disease? Or maybe tiny alien cities built on my plants? Only YOU can tell!

Thanks.

A pic would help... Most likely its just sunburn

I know I know, I really should burrow a digital cam hum? *sigh* Will do...

Aren't sunburn marks supposed to be more black than brown? That's the color my burnt vtf leaves ended up as... Poor things! Real crispy... now they look better, if you forget that they're going to be sleeping soon...zzzzz.

So what do I do? Give then sunscreening cream and shades =D? There's an idea...

Sounds like sunburn marks to me too. Sunburn on Neps(especialy rafflesiana and it`s hybrids wich coccinea is) developes itself as redish markings often times.

hi SSzvein:

What type of shading do you have?. If it is sunburn try to increase the shading to 50% or so.

Gus

sunburn on neps is, IME, orange and red, and later turns to brown
