Gender forecast

Dear all,

Can you really see on the flower bud, what gender a Nep is? It would be good to have these few extra days to arrange for a pollen exchange etc.
Does somebody have pictures comparing male and female flower buds? I guess I could also forcefully open a flower and take a look.
Would this mirabilis

be a girl then?

Thanks, Volker

Ditto, as a general rule, males are short and round, and females are longer and more tapered. This does not hold true for every species, but certainly the majority of them.

Ah, ok, thanks. Seems I confused that criteria with humans
