How do I go about creating theese sphagnum log things?  Any input is appreciated, thanks

If you're going to grow Neps epiphytically, I recommend you use some kind of glue like the airplant glue at CA Carnivores. You should also start out with a small plant that will develop its own root anchors over time.

i think those are growing in the scutes.

I think they'll grow in a planted setting if in large containers or even the ground!

These are a group of N. Gentle planted as a border against a wall in full sunlight.

I find N. ampullarias and rafflesiana also grow better in beds than in small tight pots.

Why in the world do you have so many plants?

Oh, and what are scutes?  Thanks.

I plan on breeding nepenthes some day. I need more females and unsexed seed grown plants are about 70-30 favoring more males. So I figured from ten plants I should get seven males and three females. So I get things in multiples of ten or twenty just to be safe. Besides the variation in seedlings are tremendous!
