Beauty. My calycifida is throwing up a stalk right now. First flower opened today. :-D
 
Those weren't the best pictures in the world, but they are the most recent ones. My actual intent is to illustrated that those of us who rely on temperate plants and are now seeing them go dormant, some plants can get us through the winter, until our "bread and butter" wake up.
 
Heh - bread and butter. I'd take a showy utric over temperates anyday. :drool:
