Uticularia dichotoma growing on alpine pass video

Here is a youtube video I took 2 days ago of Uticularia dichotoma (formerly U monanthos) growing in an alpine bog at Arthurs Pass in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. The bog is at about 900m abouve sea level. The flowers are an amazing blue colour. If you like this kind of video I also took a short video of Drosera stenopetala which I will post in the Drosera threads.

U. dichotoma are amazing plants. They flower nicely even in a terrarium setting. Cool video.

very nice video. thansk for sharing. Please do show other pics/video of arthur pass...that last bit of video of scenery looked stunning. Newzealand is a botanical wonder.

Thanks for the nice comments. I took some pics of the Utric but it was a bit dark as it was very foggy and early in the morning so they arnt as good as the video. I got some nice pics of 3 species of Drosera though, which I will post on the Drosera thead. NZ is pretty interesting for plants. Most kiwis (New Zealanders) dont appreciate them enough.
