Awesomeness! :)

Can you show the setup I can't tell how it's growing.

thanks very much guys. here are some behind the scenes:

here is the piece in its natural habitat:

as you can see, while the inital photos do not show any graminifolia present, it is very much alive and well.

whole piece, personally i think it is very dramatic. if i could do it again, i'd definitely be using a large flowered utric ;)

I... I want it! Is that Java Moss its growing in on that log there?

Interesting, I have graminifolia growing in peat:sand mix covering the top completely, looks like green carpet, but I have yet to see it flower.

Thanks for the shots that looks great! :)

Do you water the moss ontop or just allow the wood to wick the water up to it? Do you ever flood to cover the moss?

@swords: if you look at the fishtank shot, i usually refill that puppy up to the brim with water. the reason why it appears so low in that shot is because i needed it to be that low to take pictures. :p

@gill: i suspect that graminifolia needs to be extremely dense in order to induce flowering.

Check back for RSS's posts on the topic - he grew many, many square feet of graminifolia mats before he got his 1st flower.

That's a lot of flowers! Mine only puts up one at a time. The wait will be worth it.
