Is my aldrovanda flowering?

Hi,
On my largest aldro (small about 3 inches) on the side there is a weird bud thing coming out which looks similar to the growth point of an aldro. Is it dividing or flowering?
 
Well, they flower in the spring I think. If it gets buds on it that open above the water, its a flower! White, I think they are.
 
It may also be forming a branch. Mine branched several times.
 
Aldrovanda also form these little underwater flowers... they never open, though

ah thanks for the pic bestcarnivorous plants has the best aldro pics. Anyway update: It divided, not flowered. just as good anyway... Also I moved my 7 or so aldros and aquatic utrics outside and put shadecloth over them, as many of you have heard california does not have the best weather now...
 
Looks alot like the flower of its near relation Dionea:)
