I learnt from elgecko's post and place my pot in a clear plastic cup so that I can see the bladders.

Sure, I see the bladders, the leaves and now I see a flower stalk!!

Does that happen to your utrics too?

I haven't tried this myself, but Whenever I perceive of something innovative - I am right there with it. Can you post a pic?

So sorry...I wanted to but I forgot to top the water up and the bladders/leaves/flower stalk shrivelled up.

I guess I have to wait for another chance.

I have never had a flower start under water, but I have had leaves grow.
I bought some material to place over the glass. I have some hair algae starting to grow on my bladders. I'm hoping I can place this over the glass a month to kill off the algae, then keep it off for around 2 months and repeat as needed.
Glad it is working for you.
