My VFT is not turning red like its supposed to. Its even outside in full sun! I have a sarracenia growing in the same place and it is gaining a reddish tint but my vft is not even gretting a reddish tint also ive fed it once or twice and the plant is still growing very slow. Ive had it for over a month and it has only produce a leaf and a half. Please help!
 
Give it time, about 3 traps from now it should have very nice color.

But keep in mind that some VFT's just refuse to color up no matter how much sun you give them.
 
CCFC and Hellz, I am shoked at you both! Right under your noses in the VFT forum is a full explanation on the coloring up of VFT's. Read it please, and learn about the coloring process, and how it works. Pinned topics even!!!!
