Two stalks. They're etoliated because the stalks are kept buried under live Sphagnum in a tub under a greenhouse bench.

Nice! Is it laying flat, or is the picture just taken at a funny angle?

Either way, it's always comforting to know that flower stalks can be propagated :)
 
How long did it take for them to strike?
 
Congrats on the strikes! I too have a 'Cupped Trap' stalk that struck...I should upload some photos of it!

I removed them from the moss for the photographs. They are more or less laying flat on the uneven surface of the moss.

I inserted the stalks into the moss maybe 5-10 degrees off of horizontal originally.

Mark: I didn't keep records. Forever. Most of the stalks were from April or earlier. Those were the only two cuttings out of a dozen or more that didn't either shrivel away or get moldy.
 
And they said it couldn't be done.... No extra chemicals to induce this sprouting?
