I believe that it should have a slow reaction when it's trigger hairs are stimulated. The vft should stop growing and many of its leaves might turn black. Traps w/ short petioles. I believe that's it?
You'll likely have to induce dormancy when the days get shorter there. I assume that the length of the days does get a little shorter there in the winter? Actually maybe not...I just looked and you guys are practically right one the equator. One member on my forum lives somewhere in Malaysia. He says that he alternates between providing a "shady" dormancy one year and a "cold" dormancy the next year (via a fridge).
