Fuzzy Tooth
For those of you that like 'Fused Tooth', you should really like "Fuzzy Tooth"!

Holland Red
Holland Red and Green Dragon are battling for my favorite red clone. They're both very vigorous, produce a lot of seed and have large traps. They're nice plants.

:-D Stunning shots, Matt!
Very nice plants, too!
I had no idea Long Red Fingers made stuck teeth like that, though.

Beautiful plants... and they actually look different from many that look like typicals or red somethingorothers. Someday I'd like to try Wacky traps.

Boy that fuzzy tooth looks like something out of a Peter Jackson horror movie, huh? *shivers*

Thanks i<3carnivores! I really like Long Red Fingers. With its coloration an unique trap shape, it always catches my eye when I walk into my greenhouse.

Thanks jimscott! You may just get your chance to try Wacky Traps sooner than you think! I got it initialized in tissue culture this spring, so I'll likely have hundreds of them by next spring. If you're at all intersted, I posted a thread with a bunch of cultures of flytrap clones that I initialized this spring. You can see it here:
http://www.flytrapcare.com/phpBB3/some-dionaea-cultures-initialized-spring-2010-t7294.html

That's not all of the clones I got going this spring, but there are quite a few of them there.

Yeah, Fuzzy Tooth is crazy looking and it retains it's fused teeth nearly year round, unlike Fused Tooth that usually only displays the characteristic late in the year.

I didn't know this site existed. The hardest part for me is transitioning TC plants to the ambient world.... even when following instructions! BTW, I do have 7 viable plants from the batch of red ones you sent a few months ago. Does 'Wacky Traps' need to be hand-fed?

Hah, that's funny! We've done a few trade now and I guess I've just failed to mention it :)

OK, good! I'm glad to hear that some of them made it for you.

Yes, it must be hand fed because it isn't able to catch food on its own. I haven't fed mine yet so it hasn't been fed in the year I've had it. But I've been thinking about feeding it by hand. I just haven't gotten around to it.
