Venus Flytraps in Zone 9

Will venus flytraps be able to go dormant naturally in Zone 9 ? Please answer quickly. My plants are outside and I want ot see if I have to take drastic measures.???

The quick answer is yes. The average temps in your area are sufficient to promote dormancy.
 
I live about 300 miles south of you and mine have been outside doing just fine for several years.
 
Mine do fine in an area just south of you.
 
Same here, SoCal, zone 9. They go dormant very easily. Survive outside year round.
 
they seem hardy!
